10 Days to go…

Hungrry today!  Double cardioed it up and leg trained.  Today, I pulled Dean along the sprint track in Newton! Ha, he was tough with me and gave me no longer than 30 sec rest between the 20 x 20 m!   Last lower body training day is Sunday and day off weights tomorrow, just cardio.  Starting to dream about having a bowl of Oatmeal in Canada, cant wait!  YUM YUM!

Busy evening of clients and then cant wait for my chicken salad and avocado meal.  Sooo hungry!   x

Ok, bit tired, but thats expected.  Trained legs early today with 60 min cardio.  Extensions felt slightly easier, just legs getting used to the movement and weight.  Curls, lunges, step ups, speed squats, still the same as last week.  Resisted sprints on the track was hard and I think I made Ben sweat pulling him behind me, had a lot resistance today, trying real hard for my glutes!  Back again for 60 min cardio with SJ and did Muscle Hill, every day now - FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Got my second PUMP class in a bit in between clients.  they are all doing great, really inspiring and motivating me.  Chantel is so very focussed, Sarah, Deb, Tammy, Tamsin, Emma - all on track and the rest I havent seen this week so far - so hope you are ready! x

What a weekend! We completed the midnight walk on Friday in 2 hours and had a great turn out. 4 hours cardio training that day with walk included and lower body!

Double cardio yesterday and upper body workout. Tan arrived,so another thing to cross off my list!

Cheat meal last night was great and really enjoyed it.

Trained legs today and Jon took me through resisted sprints,legs tired, calves still tight as did muscle hill again yesterday, had Dave for company this morning for early morning cardio which as a great help!

My week is planned for training, clients, cardio and gym work.

Chicken weighed and bag and steak!

Job done - 14 days to go!

Big day yesterday! Up and down muscle hill to harden my legs and tighten my glutes!!!

Calves tight and sore from the hills so looking forward to training legs! Early morning cardio and then clients, lunch, back for legs and more cardio. Legs was good, extensions, curls, lunges, step ups, plyos, stiff legged deadlifts and then resisted sprints 20 x 20 m tyring to pull Glen around the studio! Resting now and then our Midnight Walk 10km tonight to raise more funds for Mayfield School. More cardio but for a worthy cause, just hope it doesnt rain! X

Tuesday 5th Oct - 19 days

Long day today.  Trained legs with squats, front squats, stiff legged deadlifts, extensions and curls, 30 mins stairclimber, then taught PUMP class then back for 30 mins cardio.  Home, ate the nicest piece of steak (120g) soooo small!!!, bakc to the gym, office, then 60 mins cardio, pt, teach PUMP again and home!  Hungry…..and cardio hard work today.

Great news is that my clients look good and feel good, that makes me very happy!  Chantel did cardio with me yesterday morning, which was a great help and made the time pass by very quickly, although I am not sure she thought so, but she cracked the 30 mins on the stairclimber.

UFE details came through and I am on first with the masters 35 and then on with the open figure.  They sound really well organised, that makes you feel good, the first show in New York was superbly organised too, one less thing to worry about!!! x

Had a good day, worked hard in the office then trained shoulders and arms with 30 min cardio. Pressed the 15kg for shoulders and felt strong, finished off again with 1.5 hour cardio later on again after office again. Watched the UFE dvd to get me through cardio and it was good, feeling inspired.

Week all planned now from clients, cardio still 2 hours a day and training planned too. Head down and focus, loved my cheat meal last night. Feeling good. Hope you are all set up for the week ahead too x

What a week!!!

Phew! What a week. 2 hours cardio every day has certainly kept me really busy. Managing the gym, personal training, my own training and cardio has certainly filled up my hours this week. Cardio is hard but I know its going to get tougher! Loving the process and very excited about competing. The UFE dvd has arrived so I can see how they pose and present.

Clients are all looking in shape. They are really focussed and working hard. One of my newest recruits Sonja is looking and feeling good after 2 weeks back into training. Rachels back workout yesterday was fab, francois rows into heaves with rear flyes band! So strong and in shape.

Feel tired today but good, rest day as no gym work or office and cheat meal tonight. Can’t wait! X

4 weeks to go and everything is good. Had a good session today of Shoulders and Arms with 45 min cardio of Stairclimber yesterday and today.

From tomorrow 2 X 60 min of cardio, better get some new tunes onto my i pod.

Just checked out Olympia results and see that Ava Cowan did not compete and there was a new winners Erica Stern who has a nice physque, lots of newcomers and only in fitness are the old faces.

Looking forward to another good week. Tan and scrub has been ordered. Just chilling with Karate Kid, great movie!

Cardio is planned for the week, hope you are all organised and ready to go. Looking forward to client successes this week as most seem to be on track!

Hotel, flights, show www.ufeshows.com  booked, very excited!  I have had a good week of training, legs was good on Tuesday and I switched some exercises around.  I did stiff legged deadlifts on the smith machine and that really got my hamstrings!  Yesterdays workout was hard, the close grip bench presses and weighted chins were very hard, think thats the pre contest coming out, but I hung in and got the rest done fine.  I am looking forward to Shoulders and Arms on sunday.  Cardio has been good this week and the stairclimber is no longer a threat 45 mins is easy now, so happy with that.

Monica Brant won her wbff figure show and have just seen her pics on www.bodysport.com she looks great and hard!  I have just heard from her and congratulated her on her win, she is off the the Olympia now to work for the weekend.  I am speaking to her in the next week or two so look forward to that.  It will be interesting to see who wins this year, I hope Ava Cowan does.  Who knows!!!

Yes, I am hungry and leaning up, all good, off to have a massage now!

5 weeks to go to showtime! Its very exciting and protein and fats are going ok. Some days really hungry some not so but coping fine. Training going well and today been and trained the Shoulders and Arms. Lifted the 15kg on my own for 8\6\6 reps so really pleased and db seated hammers 12.5kg on my own for 3 X 6 reps. So all good.

Our Fashion show affair was brilliant. We have raised about £3,500 to the £7 grand we are focussed on. The night was really good and the children from Mayfield School did some great routines for the crowd. I bidded on decorating hours from a painter so my lounge is the focus after my show! Our members looked great in the fashion show and there were some lovely dresses and clothes. Looking forward to our October 8th Midnight walk to raise more money for the school.

Early morning cardio has started so roll on tomorrow! Plus my suit arrived Friday and it looks amazing, I cant wait to wear it! X
