I have just seen that quite a lot of my blogs have disappeared, so here is the latest  that has happenned.

I went to Canada to the UFE’s North American Championships and entered the Elite Category in Figure.  I placed 5th out of 11 girls.  The standard was very high and it was another amazing experience.  I am still working on competing there again this year, in November and possibly October - my aim and goal is still to achieve my pro card.  I have now been competing since Nov 2007 and this is my 5th Year and hopefully my year.

I have taken 8 weeks off training to allow my body to rest, this is the first time in 5 years I have had such a break.  Running the gym and looking after clients has been busy this year and I have the most ever members in the gym, at a record so all is good.  I have been teaching classes and now have 2 girls entering their first Figure Shows in April.  My pre-season training is about to start in 2 weeks and I am learning about insulin sensitiviy and how important it is as well as cortisol levels, so I hope to bring to the stage this year, a bigger body and to be in even better shape once again.  The goals are set and I am getting ready to begin another journey x

99 days to go till show time.  Trained hard as ever this week.  Weighted chins have hit my lats hard this week as have overhead squats and push presses.  Getting ready for another session tomorrow which I am excited about and then a week in Brighton.  Will train whilst I am away with bike for cardio and workouts at the Gym on the Beach on the promenade, program due to be changed when I get back.  Oxygen magazine and Inside Fitness has arrived so I have the original pics now to frame and put up in the gym, all really good x

I have completed and sent off my registration to the UFE for the Elite Figure Category, Nov 12th, Canada.  I am very excited and it gave me a buzz sending it off.  Not to mention a few bbm’s and facebook messages from my inspiring athlete Monica Brant so all is good.  Legs and glutes are still sore from Tuesdays box squat workout, so saving the delt workout for tomorrow so I can get more food and energy and blow them apart!  Not long now till Helen competes July 31st Musclmania in Soctland.  She is doing Fitness and looks incredible at the moment, so I would say its been a good week so far, tiring but good! x

Yes, I have finally made it into Oxygen Magazine.  I am being featured in the ‘Future of Fitness’.  Massive thanks to my photographer Chris V Linton - now got to work onto getting onto the front cover! x

I had a great session today of ARMS.  Close grip presses superset with lying floor curls with isometric hold.  Lying cable ‘J’ Presses superset with preacher curls, Overhead straight bar extensions with lying cable curls with reverse cable curls, great workout and all done in 35 mins!  Week planned and ready for action! x

Sorry for the gap in my blog, with the facebook fan page I have got caught up ion the social networking and my blog has taken a back seat.

Everything is going well.  Rachel lost 5 1/2 lb today and we have sorted out a few issues regarding how to weigh out your cereal and how many carbs are in the 100g!!!!!!!!!!! In case you are reading this, 50g please!!!  Still, job done and now we will be on our way to even more weight loss! 

Today I trained Upper body and it was good, hard to start with as it was midday and I had already trained clients and started office work.  But…………….I hit the db shoulder press and supersetted the lateral raises, 4 x 8 reps, then down to the power room for bent over rows and fitball db presses (palms facing inwards) 4 x 8 reps.  Pullovers and incline db presses, same sets and reps and then incline french presses supeset with incline db curls with isometric holds.  Was gutted I forgot to take my creatine before workout but still got a pump so was happy!!  Maybe Arms tomorrow, see how the body feel or cardio on spin bike in morning and Arms Sunday! x

Feeling my workout today.  Trained Heavy chest yesterday for metabolic stimulus 3 sets of 3 reps up to 13.75kg a side on the Olympic bar - not bad to start with.  Incline push ups with a 5kg plate on my back, 1 set failure.  Push and Pull db incline presses 2 x 30 reps, Strength band triceps pushdowns superset with de franco rolling tricep extensions and then cable curls superset with supination db/curls/and hammer curls.  Feeling chest and bicep and triceps today! Good stuff…Clients and office duty today and then on shift later, busy day and meeting tomorrow to discuss rest of program!

It has been a good week of training.  I am definateely making progress and my shoulders and arms are looking fuller and I am so much stronger.  Squats yesterday with leg extensions and walking lunges and single leg presses and lots of raises with different tempos for shoulders. Sore quads and glutes today though which is a good feeling!  Today was Arms, lots of bicep curls in different positions with different tempos again and decline french presses and bar overhead cable extensions with pause reps for the triceps, all good.  Looking forward to another good week of training.  The gym is real busy and clients doing well, week planned, time for food again and a good rest! x  Hope you are all set up and ready to go…………………

Had a great week of training and doing real well with food, adding back in carbs and so far body is tolerating them.

Added 3\4 inch to my Arms in the last 28 day - as a natural athlete I am so happy. Good food, rest, bcaa, glutamine and mct oil. Looking forward to the next 28 days for Supersonic delts!

Yesterday trained Quads and Delt, legs feeling sore more aa day goes on and delts feel ok.

Today Arms with Lou, real good, seemed to really hit biceps more today but by end of sess I could fewel the tri’s’kicking in, see how I feel tomorrow. Lots of presses, curls, down the racks and drop sets!

Just made my first meal in the slow cooker, beef stew. Amazing! Pure goodness and lentils and beans, so delicious with some sweet potato in there.

Had a great week with clients, lots of goal setting and bootcamp style workouts down the beach, just replaced my running shoes, getting the bug for outdoor cardio again, so good for the head and for me, especially as work is very busy!
