Had weekend off the weights and had a great surf yesterday, hooded up with gloves and very warm!  Brilliant, surfed really well.

This morning only had time for a 5km run, getting ready for a 10km in Regents Park this weekend, so warming myself up as taking a break in London and going to rest, shop and train hard!

I hope you like the video of my routine from this year, its attatched to the bottom of my home page.

Well done Jemma.  You pressed the 7.5kg today for 3 sets of 15/12/10 reps.  Brilliant news and I know you are really pleased!

This week I have trained an A/B split.  Tuesday I trained Legs, Shoulder and Triceps.  I did Giant sets of Alternate Db lunges into plyometric split jump lunges into jump squats in seated leg curl.  3 x 20 reps.  Shoulders was machine shoulder press 12/10/8 and then db shoulder press with 15kg 8/8/8.  Machine lateral raises 8/8/8 and then tricep dips (free) 12/12/12.  Legs and shoulders were really feeling it the next day.  Yesterday I trained Chest, Back and Biceps and I can feel all of it!  I did 3 sets of neutral grip chins, Barbell bent over row 3 x 8 reps  (40kg) then Ibs incline chest press 3 x 12/10/8 and functional trainer flyes.  For biceps I did seated incline curls and then energy had run out but I did 30 mins warm up to start with.

Today after training clients I am going to do a 5km run, then work, then clients.  Busy day.  Food prepped for the day, lots of Turkey breast stir fries going on!!!

I don’t think I have been away from my blog for this long before.  I have been training hard and looking after my Torquay site and still dog sitting!  Last week, trained ridicuously hard.  Legs and shoulders together Tuesday morning then PUMP in the evening.  Chest and Triceps on the Wednesday and Back and Biceps on the Thursday.  I did the Liver Cleanse Friday/Sat and big oudoor cardio on the Sunday.  I can’t tell you which body part hurt more last week, they all hurt and I was in bits.  but I have to grow and I started the MCT Oil last week in my shakes.  All in all it was a good hard week and it all starts again tomorrow.  Legs and Shoulder tomorrow I think, or I might do half body split and try to get it in 4 times.  Need to have a think about it.

Hope you all had a good weekend x

Can’t shift this cold of mine!!!  Post contest cold is what I have.  Have stopped the early morning crazy cardio and trying to give my body some rest.  I have trained up till last week, then surfed at the weekend, which did me as usual a whole world of good.  The ocean, views, landscape is unbelievable, so amazing in North Devon, I learnt how to TURN, so was very pleased with myself.  Tuesday I ran 5km on the treadmill and yesterday trained Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, all heavy.  Incline chest press (15kg), Incline flyes, machine shoulder press, heavy raises (10kg) and free dips (3 x 15 reps) nice and deep too and then single arm db extensions to finish.  Real sore today and still got my cold, so am going to take it easy and rest up and then hit it hard next week.  Cocnut oil in every day and will start MCT oil next week now, one day at a time.   Dog sharing/sitting at the moment with Helen,  so getting plenty of fresh outdoor cardio.

Just planned my PUMP class ready for the new start Tuesday 6.15pm, everyone including myself is looking forward to it.

We have an offer on at the moment in all 3 gyms, PHD Whey protein £30 for this week only.

Chantel and Jemma, its nice to have you both back and ready to train again!  Hope you both felt good after yesterdays session? and as I always say, one day at a time x

Been a busy week at work, I am still getting up early for cardio, can’t seem to switch my body off for that, but at least its good for my digestion before breakfast.  I have trained Chest and Back on Monday and was really sore, Tuesday I trained ARMS and had yesterday off (well one session of cardio!  Today is Shoulders and Legs and I am just getting ready for it, tomorrow if I can will be Chest and Back with the weekend off for recovery, will see how my triceps are.

I am trying toget different vegetables in instead of just asparagus and to try and get a varied diet back in, but being careful of too many carbs.  I am into stir fries at the moment and had my first dose of coconut oil to cook it in.  Next week aiming to get the MCT oil in for growth and then looking to get back on the PUMP (nitric oxide) but its one step at a time!

Surfed this weekend and had a great time, had a full rest day yesterday, can’t remember the last time I had one of those.  Did a long walk though, so not sure if that counts!  Back to training this week and I am going to introduce slowly my coconut oil and Mct oil but very slowly.  My body is fed up of chicken and fish, so I am overdosing on turkey which I am enjoying.  the dieting side for 16 weeks has been good but my tastebuds are telling me different things.  Ihave re introduced goats yoghurt and starting to build up on my vegetables, which is nice for a change from asparagus!  Training later, starting with Chest and Back which I am looking forward to.

Free to member classes are starting up at Winners 2000 from Monday 16th November.  We have Aerobics on Monday nights at 6.15pm and I am back taking PUMP again on tuesday nights at 6pm.  Thursday evening James will be running a circuits class and we will also be having beginners and intermediate running clubs.  Newton Abbot is doing very similar classes and non-members can come for £4.  Very excited and looking forward to taking PUMP again, its a great example of how resistance training really works!
