I have been sat all day in my ‘appointed persons first aid certificate course’ - St Johns Ambulance with my team today.  It was good and very refreshing, but sat down makes you so tired, on top of pre-contest dieting.  But I got into the gym and trained Shoulders and Legs and 45 mins cardio.  So job done and weekend off weights!!! 

Training has gone well this week, I have been ok, bit off colour Tuesday but otherwise A1!!  Not long to go, 9 days to NPA heat.

Well done Lisa.P you lost 4lb this week and deserved it!!!

Where has the time gone?  I can’t believe its September already!

This weekend was off weights and I did double cardio on Saturday and double outdoor surfing on Sunday.  Very nice to be out in the fresh air, it give you time away from the gym and helps you evaluate where you are and where you are going!

Yesterday was back to it and I trained ARMS.  It was a hard session and I trained on my own without a spot, so I changed my routine round a little bit.  I started with rope pushdowns 3,5,8,10 reps and superset with a cable curl where I got 4 x sets of 8 reps out.  Then tricep pushdowns on the cable with hammer rope curls, same reps as the last set.  single arm dumbell preacher curls 10,8,6 reps, fast dyna band single arm tricep extensions 3 x 30 reps and then to finish dyna bank curls 3 x 12 reps.  Arms felt pumped and nice and tight.  Later I am training Delts and Legs!
