DAVE FUGE!

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

Congratulations to my colleague DAVE FUGE.  He won ‘Best Presentation’ award at the NPA Yorkshire qualifier yesterday.  He also took 4th place in the Novice.  It was his first competition and he was amazing.  You wouldn’t have believed it was his first time on stage.  A true natural and he ruled the stage.  I believe he should have placed higher, once again it is so interesting in these competitons (there is no way that 3rd place was better than him in every sesnse) but Dave was just awesome (as Brian would say).  He was a true winner in the sense as he did the diet, had a perfect routine (thanks to Simon), practised and posed perfectly.  Well done Dave.  You can catch up with him on his site www.davefuge.com

CONGRATUALTIONS DAVE!

The show was held in the Frontier Night Club in Batley, Yorkshire and it was a great venue.  Really professionally run, on time and completely stress free.  We didn’t stay to watch the ‘trained figure ‘ girls do their routines as we had a very long drive back home, but I will get the dvd and see who placed.  Simon and I already have some ideas for my routine and theme and I am really looking forward to competing again.

Arms!

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Had a great session on Saturday.  I trained ARMS.  My back and chest are sore today from the workout.  This is good, I am going to grow again!

It started with a chin and dip superset, the number I had set to reach was 30 reps.  Then it was into a 12/10/8 set of pressdowns.  Close grip bench was up next with 3 sets of 3 reps to really hit my triceps heavy and hard, this was tough, Matt gave me a spot and we put 20 kg either side! Phewww! Incline supination curls with 10kg  12/10/8 reps and then into finishing off with heavy cable curls, 3 sets of 3 reps!

Yep, feeling it today alright!
