Back and Shoulders - Weekend Training and a fight!

Yesterday I trained BACK!  so good to be back training, felt really ready.  Went in for early morning cardio and then trained later on in the day.  No clients, whole day off to see family and friends.

I did weighted neutral grip chins with (10kg) into free neutral grip chins into jump up neutral chins, 6 reps each and twice through - ouch!  Used my versa gripps for bent over rows with the olympic bar, working at 12/10/8/8 getting up to 12.5kg either side.  Straight arm pulldowns to finish, 2 sets of 15 reps.  Next week Simon wants me to go up by 2.5kg as my arms and back are very sore and I am going to grow!!! I finished off with 30 mins cardio and felt quite sick after.  I am back on the supplements today, NE2 and Creatine and the good old MCT oil!

What a fight last night!  Watched the Hatton fight on Sky live from Manchester.  I am so connected with Hatton now from continually watching that dvd, that I loved watching the fight.  Puts me in a good place for training!

Did 45 mins of cardio with Dave this morning.  He has only a week to go before his first show at the NPA on Yorkshire.  This is very exciting and we are all going up to support him.  He was tanning up today with pro-tan as he has already done a trial colour of jan -tana and is deciding which one suits him best.  Trained clients all morning and then back for SHOULDER training.  Jon coached me through the workout.  I was so sore before I started it was ridiculous, even my chest is sore?!?

Dumbell shoulder presses with 10kg, 3 sets and 1 drop at the end.  Arnie presses with 10kg, 2 sets of 8 reps.  seated military shoulder presses, 2 sets of 20 reps, (shoulders are killing by now).  3 sets of 15 reps with the dumbel lateral raises, (i love this exercise - one of my favourites now), did these with ease witht he 6kg and reverse barbell shruggs with my gripps.  30 mins cardio at the end.  I will have to take cardio out of my routines very soon, as I want to get bigger and improve my body for Octobers finals.

Helen went through to the second round of the Europeans today, but unfortunately didn’t make the top 6.  she did really well to go that far though.  She has a flight left to finish and then she can chill before starting it all over again.

Tomorrow is light cardio, think my body is going to be really sore!
