Ok, I didn’t train Legs on Thursday as planned. I had extra sleep to grow. No, I am not lazy or less committed but what’s the point in killing myself when it is one of the best workouts of my week. So I had planned to train them at the weekend when I have time to focus and eat and rest. Then the plan changed again, I had to rethink what’s my focus - shoulders! So shoulders, back and chest it was. I trained today after getting fired up and focused with the help of my video at home and then the dvd of PUMPING IRON 2 at the gym and of course my new supplement stack. I am starting tomorrow on Universal Animal Pak (see below)

What a workout! Simon took me through my training today. I was focused, having been practising posing with Helen earlier and looking through all the 2007 federation finals and knowing in my head how I want my body to change and with the help of PUMPING IRON 3 (no, that will be my next dvd for sure when I become a pro - with myself in it to inspire women out there to have and keep the perfect physique)….. Back to my training, we started on seated dumbell shoulder presses with 10kg up to 15 kg for 8 reps (3 sets). Onto standing barbell military shoulder presses, long reps and standing dumbell lateral raises with my new practised technique. I was starting to quite literally get a pump and an energy rush (at times I can be very sensitive to caffeine - much to the annoyance of my coach!) I did upright rows and superset with dumbell shrugs for my traps. Back was next, I performed wide grip chins and then was straight into clap push ups to failure, to full press ups to failure into 3/4 push ups, twice through, (now literally pumped up everywhere!) We did 2 sets and then it was into really close grip pulldowns into free dips ( my triceps were by now so pumped it was crazy!). Seated Row followed with stirrup attachments for creating width and depth and then into quite a high incline for me chest press on the smith. THE END…………. A great workout and I really enjoyed my new pre-workout ANIMAL PUMP. My body has no choice but to grow!!!
