New York - Day 5 (31/8)

30 mins stairclimber level 15 on aerobic and then 15 min bike on sport training level10.  Real tired today, combination of long week and early starts and late nights and food i suppose.  Bit disappointed as thought I could handle this better.  Had colonic treatment in afternoon and felt much better, took client out for a run and did step sprints and hill sprints.

No cardio today, saving myself for training.  Trained this morning, ARMS!  Did pressdowns first then bench dips, that was really hard as used to bench dips first on the program.  Got a PB on close grip bench, Olympic bar and 7 ½ kg either side for 8 reps.

Started off on x-trainer for 20 mins and then uphill walking on the treadmill for my glutes for 25 min. Great day today, Brian came to the gym and took photos onto disc for my website, gave me a great feeling of New York seeing those pics, can’t wait for the comp in nov.  Energy levels good.

Survived the day on four meals today.  Felt a bit tired this afternoon, probably due to yesterday’s workout catching up with me.  My third meal was omelette and porridge that felt good.  Chest, traps and shoulders sore today!Got to e mail Chrys Corner tomorrow to check that my suits are being made and payment has been collected.  Started my day with pumping iron 2 – 25 mins treadmill and 20 mins high level bike reading about Vicky Mcaan, she has a good physique.Got to sort out some pics for my website, will include New York  06 and 07 and Jenny Lynn fitness weekend I went to in Kentucky in June.

THIS IS MY FIRST ENTRY INTO MY BLOG.  I AM GOING TO COMPETE IN NEW YORK ON THE 10TH NOV 2007 AT THE TRIBECA THEATRE, MANHATTEN, NEW YORK.  THE SHOW IS CALLED THE EASTERN QUALIFIER AND THE FEDERATION IS NPC.   

 11 weeks to go to NY Show (nov 10th)Starting weight on tanita scales 9st 4.8lb and 21% B.F (9st 6.8lb weight only) 45 mins of cardio x 5 days a week  4 meals a day35-40g protein35-40g carbs Meal one Egg whites 5 and 1 yolk45g oats with half milk and half water
