Lost one and half pounds so on track. Took time off work and enjoying a de load week of no gym, just cardio, fresh air bike rides and surfing. Itching for the gym today though. Just done a huge bike ride along Brighton promenade, on way to Rotterdean and Windmill. (Didnt cycle fron Devon though!)
Clients have goals set and know what to do this week and what is expected of them. Chantel make sure you break those running shoes in before I get back!
Fat burning cardio and fresh air, here I go!
Planning is the key, arrived with cool box, all food measured and weighed and cooked, evening meals are easy enough to eat out.
Have a good week! Work hard and enjoy your training!

On Sunday it was 14 weeks to the day of my show, so we have started my pre-contest diet from Monday. Oats and shakes, mct oil has gone and been replaced with my protein and fats and low starch green carbs, more for the fibre really. 4 meals a day.
Going well, all good with this week 120 mins of cardio after my 3 workouts. I have a new program with upper, lower and upper body.
Had a great leg session today, squats, hex bar deadlifts, single leg squats, reverse lunges, single leg curls and speed squats, really enjoyed it. 2 pump classes and 30 mins of cardio today! All good.
Heard today that Monica Brant has left IFBB for the WBFF and is competing with them in Canada in sept. Real exciting news and I bet she wins! She will look amazing I reckon. Canada the place to be! Cant’t wait!
Loving the Biggest Loser USA - season 8. Cannot believe how much they train and what they make them do. Unbelievable, Gillian is great! Love her style!

Got a consultation with Monica Brant on Thursday refarding my last 7 days. I wold like to know her thoughts and what she does, we have an idea of what I am doing, pretty similar to last year as that was my best shape ever. However in America they look fuller and dont get so lean. So be interesting.
Just bought Ava Cowans mini series dvd, so looking foward to training and getting inspired. Booking a week off before the diet starts to relax and do some fun things, work has been crazy, busy with clients and staff holidays have left me and my team busy busy!!
Trained upper body in Newton yesterday, I changed round my exercises and it was really good. I started with chest and back and then went into Arms, the down the rack curls then into the tri set of pushdowns, over head rope extensions and hammer curls. Then I finished off shoulders, the 2 x 1 min lateral raises on the Kaiser machine, db shoulder presses and had to stop and leave out Arnold inverted shoulder press, blown!!!
Bit gutted I am not sore today! Mmm, maybe have to think about Sundays workout.
Hoping to have a surf tomorrow if its not too messy for cardio and to clear the head. Sharpen the saw.
Suit still not arrived, fingers crossed its here next week, cant wait to see it all stoned!

Cant believe its only Wednesday, such a busy week so far. Great fun with clients this week, food diaries have been good and results are showing! Emma looks great and is 12 days into training and diet and lower body is really starting to change. Chantel is back on form and its been nice to train total body for a change, dont want to shock the body too much after having a holiday but generally a total body is good as it gets mobility back and starts switching muscles back on.
Glutes are sore today, I switched leg exercises around and started with single leg lunges with bar and foot up on bench, then speed squats, then into the hex trap bart deadlift. Lying leg curls were good the 21’s’x2 I managed to do on my own and then got a spot for single leg curls for the forced and paused reps. Feeling it today and with 3 PUMP classes back to back legs feeling it today!
Upper body tomorrow and hopefully my suit for next show is on its way from the States which I am really excited to receive!
Keep training and sticking to the 80:20 rule!

Another week has flown by. Training all good and tomorrow is upper body. Definately feel and looking bigger, reached 10 stone this week, but will check again tomorrow! Not holding too much body fat either. Had the UFE email through this week so will download and apply for comp in Canada now in October, very excited!
Had a great week with clients and upgrades. Bekah did 3 sets of 10 chins, 4 on her own as well and managed to do the whole monkey bars on outside gym! Brill. Weather has been ok this week and I have used the outdoor gym loads this week with clients.
Went for a surf today and it was fab, water so warm and surf so good. First time in over 6 weeks since ankle but all good so buzzing.
Looking forward to training tomorrow!!

Busy week at work, still another few weeks of trainers and guardians being on holiday so am working some extra shifts. Training good though. Weighed myself this afternoon and 10 stone!! Very excited about this as I still have a couple of weeks to go before I start diet. I should have taken some pics training today as I look full and still look strong with edge of leaness so I am very happy.
I am a bit exhausted as SJ took me through my workout and I feel trashed. We did wide chins with belt and 20 kg for 3 x 3. Wide pulldowns, reverse grip pulldowns, 30 degrees bent over rows. Incline heavy 12.5kg sup curls, fit ball db curls and hammer curls and heavy 17.5kg s’a db rows and then heavy drop set X 2 close grip smith machine press, less than 45 mins!
Yep, trashed!!!!!
Got a busy week ahead, all planned and ready, I have E new clients, food plans, measurements done and training started so all good.
Have a great week and make sure your diet is top notch, sun is shining and make good if not better choices!

This week has flown by again. Trained Legs on Tuesday and it was really good and hamstrings were sore, think I had better up the weights next week as I really want to ’smash’ them up and get that that real pain!!! Upper body was today and arms are still growing, really pleased, looks like dieting is starting in about 3 weeks, so better make the most of the carbs before then!!! Certainly not going to miss the shakes and oats, although since I have started blending them together, it definately is softer on the digestion system!
Rebecca did great yesterday with her first routine ready for the army, 10 full press ups first time round and chins! Well done Becky, you are going to show the boys up when it comes to test time as this is only the beginning! Jemma is doing well on the weigh loss and is holding her shape since the wedding. It is really hard when you have become focussed on one goal, the best way is to search out another or decide what body parts you want to improve and then get to it. In my experience and I have learnt the hard way, its better to it sooner than later. My group of ladies are in training tonight and I have all 4 of them so looking forward to a great session. Wimbledon is getting soooo exciting, my favourite Federer is out now so its a complete lottery as to who will win! Underdogs are coming through!!!

Trained hard yesterday after shift whilst football was on. Lucky I didnt watch it!! It was Upper body again and I can feel my back today but awaiting some pain in my arms! I really felt the pushdowns, overhead rope extensions into the seated db hammer curls and the down the rack for biceps just finished it off nicely.
Clients doing great, Chantel have a great holiday and enjoy the relaxation then its straight back to training for our 10km we sponsor in August. Tamsin had a great pump in her arms this morning from a tri set and back is very strong, even managed to hang in there with a drop set! 45 mins on the stairclimber is also very impressive, well done! Sarah and Louise are looking in shape and their bodies are changing really well. Not bad for a morning!
I hope your weeks are set up well and you are noted when training and preparing meals.
Tammy, I hope to see you back next week when your back has had a rest from moving those cows!!

Another busy week is coming to an end. Training was good on thursday. Upper body felt strong, pressed the 15kg for shoulder presses on my own for 2 sets of 8 reps with a drop of 8 at 10kg. Definatley feeling stronger. Work has been busy covering shifts and I am ready again for work tomorrow and training.
Really happy with clients, got 4 class ladies on coconut butter this week, so looking forward to their feedback!
Having sport on is great, really enjoying Wimbledon, just watching Murray play now and of course England play Germany tomorrow, what a day tomorrow!
Weather is beautiful, a real summer, long may it continue!

Trained Sunday after work and had a good workout. I trained on my own got a good Pump. It was an upper body workout and the arms was good, the change around with the pushdowns, rope extensions and hammer curls def work better and the drop set incline curls down the rack were really hard but good!
Good week so far. Jemma trained great today and is really into her jump chins, negative work was excellent today.
After PUMP this morning I trained Legs, which felt quite tired. Trap bar squats were good and switched on glutes and hams, single leg squats were good and I went heavier with the dumbells. I trained 2 sets on the lying leg curls with the 21’s’and think that exercise must have got my hams last week, but the single leg curls definately finished me off, one set with pause at the the top and the other with a forced negative. Legs very shaky, had shake, oats and oil and cant wait for my chicken and sweet potato!!!
Tonight after PUMP again I am taking beginners running club, shoes packed, just hope my legs hold out!!
